We are delighted to let you know we are the First Funeral Director's to offer The Grief Garden Path Gift Book in our Comfort Bags -free of charge of course with every Funeral that we do. This book is written by Julie New and every book sold means Julie donates £1 to The Good Grief Trust . Julie has a wonderful way of writing and relates our lives to a garden that need nurturing in the same way that a garden does. We need looking after , feeding and watering too. Julie's has put together some personal stories from people who are grieving and have allowed us to share their stories. If you are grieving too I would recommend this book. If you would like a copy then this is the link you need: https://bit.ly/Grief-Garden
Also, we have begun a marketing campaign with KMFM, you may have seen our advert in the Kent Messenger or even heard our ad on the radio! We are hoping to get our name out there! Look out for us won’t you.
With Covid 19 still around and affecting us all, now more than ever it seems more important to be thinking about planning for our future care. As part of our service we do offer advanced care planning, Funeral plans, and a free funeral checklist so you can jot down things you want to think about for when your time comes. I have attached a link for our Checklist below so you can download it . If you would like one but cannot download it please let me know and I will send one to you, or if you are interested in any of the other services we offer then please give us a call on 01622 963378 and I will try to help. Our Funeral Plans from Avalon are very popular, we have had a lot of interest in these. A link for the brochure is attached below.
Remember to wear your face masks when required so we can keep on relaxing the lock down rules and get back to normal as soon as possible, and don’t forget to wash your hands!
Stay safe everyone.
